Tracings (2000) 6' for string orchestra

This piece is an arrangement of two Georgian folk songs, Tchenosnuri and Tsmindao Chmerto, for string orchestra. It was written for Michael Lewanski and the Bach Society Orchestra at Yale, and was performed by them in February, 2001. The piece was later performed by the String Orchestra of New York City (SoNYC) at the Music at the Anthology Festival and at Weill Hall.
